Analyse past results and perform variance analysis
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Identify and drive process improvements
Use data modeling, design and techniques to take business intelligence requirements from concept to implementation
Work with stakeholders across the business to understand and support their needs
Identify opportunities for improvements in data quality and reporting
Use technologies including Databricks, Tableau, and Python/Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis
Previous experience in Data Science
Clear verbal and written communication skills, including being able to tell stories with data to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to distill large amounts of information into specific takeaways
Previous experience within financial, business, or bibliometric analysis (desirable)

Frontiers is looking for a motivated Advanced Data Analyst to join our new Advanced Analytics team, focused on working to identify opportunities within journal growth and editorial review processes.
This role, reporting to the Team Lead - Advanced Data Analytics, will work to identify patterns, build models, and test and improve predictive algorithms that increase our understanding of customer trends and identify opportunities to improve our products and services.
