Your responsibilities
In this role you will be part of the Advanced Mechanical Design team in the Advanced Technologies Organization and take part in the latest GE product design through technology maturation programs. You will have the opportunity to work and lead projects on different engine modules and to design components for engine or testing. You will work in close cooperation with other global sites.
Coordination and execution of design efforts related to technology maturation for new engine programs.
Meeting the technical and program requirements and schedule.
Creation and implementation of plans to achieve contract commitments.
Participation as a presenter in technical and program reviews: Internal Review, Design reviews, Test Reviews, Reg Flags.
Preparation of action plans to anticipate and respond to challenges.
Assuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks.
Coordinating and executing assigned individual and team projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards.
Our requirements
MSc in Engineering.
Systems thinking and solid engine architecture knowledge.
Must be independent engineer that executes with minimum guidance.
Problem solving mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
Good level of English.
Understanding of the design and analysis tools relevant to the function (e.g. Ansys, NX, Teamcenter)
Geometrics Dimensioning understanding
Desired Characteristics:
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Project leadership experience.
Jet engines and/or test stands components design experience.
