Your responsibilities

  • The AML Officer function supports the Compliance Manager in ensuring that the company complies with applicable regulations, industry standards and best practice, SG code of conduct, local and applicable group policies and procedures regarding AML/CFT and sanctions and embargoes.

  • We are looking for the AML Officer who will be responsible for supporting in reinforcing and enhancing the compliance function within SGEF Poland, and providing guidance to the business by spreading the risk and control culture.

  • Will be reporting to the Compliance Manager.

  • Being in a role of AMLO (Anti Money Laundering Officer)

  • Coordination of the AML/KYC process in the company, including in particular responsibility for compliance with the provisions on counteracting money laundering and financing of terrorism and sanctions and embargoes

  • Creating and updating policies and procedures in the field of AML/KYC

  • Performing tasks related to the AML/CFT process within the second line of defense (LoD2)

  • Monitoring of legal changes regarding AML/CFT

  • Reporting to the GIIF

  • Reporting to the Management Board regarding the AML/CFT process

  • Issuing opinions on internal regulations in terms of compliance with the law in the AML/CFT area

  • Conducting trainings

  • Support in ensuring the implementation of the SG group policy and programs regarding Compliance Framework (notably Anti Money Laundering, KYC, KYS, Sanctions & Embargo, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Conflict of interests)

  • Develop a strong risk awareness and compliance culture within all departments

Our requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar position, in particular in the area of counteracting money laundering and financing of terrorism

  • Strong risk and control culture, knowledge of the legal environment

  • Attention to details and analytical skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work in transversal projects between different departments of the entity

  • Good presentation skills, both orally and in documents structure

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Fluent English language (min. B2)
