Analyst in Collateral Management Operations

Your responsibilities

• Managing Client queries, transaction input and processing follow-up

• Solving issues occurring in collateral transactions processing

• Processing collateral instructions

• Dispatching of messages and input of exclusions

• Ensuring that collateral schedule is correctly analyzed, coded, processed, and uploaded

• Following up on custody events and investigation related to income payments of triparty related securities balances

Job Description

Collateral Management is one of the key business drivers of Euroclear and the volumes are growing rapidly. We offer our clients an opportunity to source and mobilize securities across borders and time zones and use them as collateral. To facilitate this process, we created our Collateral Highway - the first fully open global market infrastructure, supporting sourcing and mobilization of securities. The Collateral Highway concept tackles the problem of fragmented pools of collateral locked away in different entities, geographic locations, and time zones. Until now, it has been difficult to centralize the management of these dislocated securities positions to serve as collateral for access to central bank liquidity, collateralized transactions (such as repos and securities loans) margins for CCPs and OTC derivative trades.

Role:

As a member of the Collateral Management Operations Team, you will, in collaboration with the dedicated Collateral Account Management Team, provide a first-class service to our customers.

This key role does imply being involved with our team Watch Duty, hence work outside of business hours is sometimes required as launches in production are generally carried out after 5 pm, some days until 8:30 pm.
