Job description:

The role is placed within Global Model Risk Management in Governance Team. Team has global exposure, providing services both to Validation peers as well as to other members of model community across the world. Model Risk Management oversees the risk coming from models throughout the company. Validation staff provide independent opinion about model quality. Governance’s purview includes, data entry, reporting, and working with modelers on submitting forms and documentation.  

As a successful candidate

New Associate will be mainly responsible for supporting the team in day-to-day activities. Areas of support will include: database maintenance, model issue management, reporting, on-going monitoring coordination and communication with modelling community. Secondary responsibility will be involvement in projects aiming at either enhancing the process of Model Risk Management or at automation of the documentation workflow. Position offers a possibility of wide range on the job training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience with either data analysis, database management or risk management
  • Ability and will to overcome obstacles
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft packages particularly Excel and SharePoint.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of VBA, Python or other programming skills are a plus
