Your responsibilities

  • Growing Tableau & Alteryx expertise through hands on work experience

  • Maintaining recurring reporting in Tableau and other tools

  • Optimizing the existing reports and finding new solutions to improve user experience

  • Translating existing Excel and Power Point reports into Tableau

  • Developing new reporting tools and solutions

  • Contribution to Bain reporting standards creation and the development of Bain's data warehouse

  • Working directly with people and data from different business functions

Our requirements

  • University degree in a financial, business or quantitative field of study

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx or other data visualization/data prep tools will be a great asset

  • Proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, professional approach to clients and commitment to meeting deadlines

Department Overview

The Reporting & Analytics team works with internal departments (e.g. Finance, Creative Services, Research and Data Services, Human Resources) in Bain offices across the world. Based in our Global Business Services office in Warsaw, our team provides our clients with the highest quality of reporting support.

The Role

Main responsibilities of Analyst, Reporting & Analytics will include developing new reports (structuring data and building the dashboards) and updating existing ones. This person will join the GBS Reporting Centre of Excellence team and will work directly with our global & regional clients.

Strong Excel skills and fluent English are essential for this position. Daily work with large and complex datasets will require an analytical mindset and attention to detail. Tableau and Alteryx will become tools used every day: no prior knowledge of those programs is required, but the candidate needs to be willing to learn them on the job.

The successful candidate should be both an outstanding individual performer and a team player able to collaborate with other Reporting & Analytics team members within Global Business Services in Warsaw.
