About the project
You will be responsible for Android connectivity area analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis of such protocols as Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC. Most of your working time will be devoted to dealing with issues coming from the field. You will analyze them, find the root cause, and propose solutions or the final fix.
Your responsibilities
Analysis and problems solving in the area of Huawei connectivity features. That includes networking features: Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, 2G/3G/4G/5G
Logs analysis and fixing problems in source code
Proposing software improvements to existing software stacks
Co-working with HQ and local experts’ team on problems analysis and improvements
Our requirements
At least 5 years of experience with Android OS and application architecture
Prior experience in Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, 2G/3G/4G/5G protocols analysis
Good command of Java/C/C++ (standard libraries)
Knowledge of toolchains, cross-compilation, profilers, packaging, ADB
Knowledge of Gradle/Ant/Make Build
Past proven experience in connectivity issues troubleshooting, including but not limited to analysis of modem logs, Logcat/Systrace, TCP dumps etc.
Self-reliance in performing tasks with ability to identify risks and issues. Capable of working under minimal supervision.
Attention to details and strong focus on solution delivery. Professional & proactive approach to tasks appointed.
Communicative English
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Prior work and experience in the delivery or maintenance team (ideally the one dealing with a mobile phone system’s maintenance)
System profiling and optimization techniques
UML diagrams practical knowledge
Knowledge of hardware architectures: Arm Cortex-A/m4 and other architectures
