O projekcie
We are looking to complement our existing team of System Software Programmers. The job implies designing, writing, maintaining and troubleshooting ANSI C and C++ code. We use mostly ANSI C89 / C99, but some parts of our firmware are written in C++. The code you will interact with is processing high speed data flows and provides the intelligence of our XCA network optimizer.
Twój zakres obowiązków
Here are how your day-today responsibilities of the role will look like, but are not limited to:
Designing, writing and optimizing ANSI C and C++ code
Troubleshooting and maintaining existing C/C++ code
Taking care of our testing tools (automated labs, unit tests, buildroot build process...)
Nasze wymagania
You are able to write clean and optimal ANSI C and C++ code
You are familiar with Linux, gcc and bash scripts
Solid grasp of TCP/IP concepts (what’s an IP header, how routing works, what’s a SYN/ACK...)
You know how to write SQL queries (we use PostgreSQL databases to store long-term data for reports)
Basic English level – at least enough to read and understand technical documentation
