AP Accountant for German transitions

thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk is a global competence and development center aimed at bundling and standardizing business processes for thyssenkrupp companies worldwide. We provide services in the areas of Finance & Accounting (FI), Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), and Real Estate Management (RE). As thyssenkrupp Gdańsk we are a part of Global Shared Services Centres and one of the biggest SSC in Tricity. We are located in a modern Gdańsk office overlooking the sea.


Your responsibilities


Being a part of an international team of thysenkrupp you will be responsible for transition of AP processes to our Global Shared Services in Gdańsk


You will:

  • participate in knowledge (workshadowing) transfer from Germany, absorb knowledge from local teams, prepareprocessdocumentationand perform migrated activities for the local organization during transition

You will:

  • take responsibility for AP processes: daily invoice posting and account reconciliation, preparing payment runs, reviewing and verifying invoices and check requests
  • prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • support Internal/External audits with documentation and processes


 Your profile 

  • University degree preferably in business area
  • Good knowledge of German – min. B2 level
  • English on a communicative level
  • Excel, Word and Outlook professional working competency
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting
  • Min.1 year of professional experience on a similar role
  • Working experience within a (captive or outsourced) shared services center would be an advantage
  • SAP knowledge preferred or other ERP system
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
