We are looking for candidates for Accountants of different areas – AP, AR or GL – with German or English, for our clients in several cities in Poland. If you are interested and want to know more details, please send us your CV in English.

Your responsibilities
AP
• processing invoices, employee expenses and credit card statements, handling supplier
queries and payments
• Participation in activities related to month end closing process
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Creating and updating process documentation
• Preparation of documentation for audit purposes
AR
• Review and daily balancing of cash receipts
• Reconciliation of daily cash receipts to corresponding invoices within AR ledgers
• Assist in dunning process
• Manage and update internal processes and manuals (e.g. internal control system)
• Maintenance of relevant documents for audit
• Support Legal Entities and HQ on ad-hoc tasks
GL
• creating and posting complex journal entries,
• Intercompany invoices posting and balance reconciliation/posting, creating and posting
requisitions, adjusting accounts and cost centres,
• GL master data maintenance, accounts creation, balancing and reconciliation,
• performing end to end Period End Closing accounting activities e.g. preparing files for
the quarter and year-end consolidation, creating financial statements
• calculating and booking taxes (including e.g. provisions for deducted taxes),
• internal controls maintaining.
Employer requirements
Very good German or English skills (min. B2)
Experience in AP, AR or GL accounting processes
university degree in a related field would be an asset
knowledge of SAP
knowledge of MS Office
