Your responsibilities

  • Line management (including performance management) of the personnel aligned to the team (up to 8 people)

  • Assuring service delivery for the process within AP & Payments and process automation in collaboration with other regions

  • Strategy development, setting and achieving operational objectives

  • Working closely with clients and maintaining good relationships; collaboration and communication with external and internal stakeholders (incl. auditors)

  • Acting as a point of contact for process/people related escalations; ensuring the correctness of procedures and internal control function

  • Continuous training of the team (methods, organisation, performance improvement), reviewing work of staff and providing constructive feedback

  • Continuous improvement: seeking and acting on ways to improve daily work processes to enhance quality, productivity and customer service

  • Coordinating transitions of accounting processes

Employer requirements

  • University degree in Finance / Accounting or an accounting certification or equivalent is desirable

  • Proven track of professional experience in the area of accounting (preferably within Accounts Payable / PtP / Payments / Accounts Receivable / OtC)

  • Supervising / team leading / managerial experience in an accounting department

  • Good knowledge of AP / PtP / Payments process gained in SSC/BPO sector is highly desirable

  • Fluent English (min. C1 level)

  • Experience in process transition / process improvement / process automation within accounting processes would be an asset

  • Quick availability would be an asset
