Your responsibilities

  • Working in our team, you are an integral part of the Procurement Performance, Systems and Excellence Team.

  • You will support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Procurement IT Roadmap, and the optimization of both legacy and new procurement tools to make the business efficient and effective.

  • Specifically, you will work on managing the new procurement spend analytics tool. After securing a successful implementation, you will be responsible for managing this application. This means you will implement new features, ensure integrity and quality of data, adjust the tool to the needs of the procurement organization, assure the quality of the content and manage the business rules. You will encourage the organization to get maximize benefit (ROI) from the spend analytics solution, and equip the procurement teams to negotiate better, gain insights to better manage suppliers and present procurement data in new and exciting ways.

  • Support the implementation project of the new spend analytics tool

  • Maintain the data content and quality by aligning with the procurement organization and SAP systems

  • Manage the IT applications from a functional perspective (performance, costs, user acceptance, etc.)

  • Drive the development and implementation of new functions/applications as part of a dedicated functional team

  • Implement specialized reports for the management

  • Collaborate closely with our cluster experts to reveal insights and potentials

  • Align data provision with Data Analytics

  • Direct responsibility for application budget

  • Implementation with fast and agile dev processes from specification to deployment

  • Working in a cross-functional team including direct interaction with our IT department and data analytics team

Employer requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree in Economics, Information Technology or similar

  • Min. 2 years of experience with responsibility for business-critical IT applications

  • Good functional and technical knowledge of procurement tools will be an asset

  • Business intelligence skills in the field of procurement

  • Project management skills

  • Good knowledge of SAP will be an advantage

  • Good command of English both written and spoken

  • Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
