About the project

Customer Satisfaction is key for a successful relationship - with the CXone project Schenker has now initiated the Europe-wide implementation of a harmonized and modern solution for the improvement of the customer service at Schenker Land Transport in Europe.

CXone facilitates the work of customer service agents in European Land Transport to serve customer inquiries faster and better. The omnichannel tool based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 enables the communication with the customer via all channels (phone, email, chat) - to provide the best Customer Experience across all touchpoints.

CXone is accordingly much more than an IT solution: This lighthouse project will fundamentally change the entire operating model of customer service at DB Schenker. The rollout has started in 2021 and will continue for two years covering more than 20 countries.

Your responsibilities

  • As an Application Support Specialist you are responsible for a smooth technical operation of all technical application components and data integrations used for the customer service business processes in logistics based on Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Ensuring a smooth service operation, considering new developments and the respective sprint and rollout cycles. The focus will be in the incident and problem management for all CXone components in terms of a central 2nd or even 3rd Level Support.

  • Implementing continuous service improvement and performance optimization for the specific services. You cooperate with suppliers, business partners and internal departments for an efficient and effective IT service provisioning.

  • Working in a motivated team with a high level of own responsibility in an exciting project of Schenker Land Transport. In addition to a secure job in a pleasant and collegial atmosphere, we offer you a promising international working environment in a modern industry.

Our requirements

  • Study to university degree level of natural sciences, computer science, business, or an equivalent education.

  • At least 3-5 years proven experience in IT Service Operations or development with in-depth knowledge of service processes in a Pan-European business.

  • Profound professional knowledge about complex business applications and their business-related workflow support, focus on customer service tools like MS Dynamics, databases and Java applications

  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented attitude.

  • Fluent English language skills verbally and in writing, additional languages are a benefit

  • Willingness to work on-call duty and for limited travel.

Optional

  • Participate in a shift pattern

  • Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable Productivity (Incident Completions etc.)

  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse and inclusive environments

  • Required to work in a virtual Environment

  • Any RPA Certification preferably Kofax will be an added advantage, but knowledge is must

  • MCITP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage, but knowledge is must

  • ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management will be an added advantage, but knowledge is must
