Application Specialist

location: Warsaw (remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for applications systems – providing support to internal and external users.
  • Making sure the application meets business needs and performs as expected.
  • Assisting in preparation of supporting documentation and manuals.
  • Gathering and sharing information on application functionality and best practices.
  • Coordinating the implementation of appropriate improvements to applications and processes.
  • Integrating the application with company’s backend.
  • Cooperation with IT, Security and other teams within the company.
  • Contact with external applications providers.
  • Monitoring and signaling any problems or space for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English (min. B2/C1)
  • Higher education, preferably in Computer Science.
  • Working knowledge of some of these solutions: XTM, Memsource, SDL GroupShare, Across, MemoQ, Smartling).
  • Familiarity with translations/localizations industries as a plus.
  • Advanced communication skills, proactive attitude and independence.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
