Application Support Analyst

Overview:

The Application Support Analyst would join Warsaw Business Services Organization in supporting in-house Python based application that delivers key insights and statistics regarding teams’ performance. Application automates time tracking, brings invaluable insight while reducing the workload and context-switching for employees. Providing real-time productivity data enables business leaders to stay connected with their teams and bring visibility in achieving their business goals. After joining the team candidate will have opportunity to work closely with 2 Senior Software Engineers (founders of the application) who will offer guidance & support.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve product issues reported by internal users
  • Support users by explaining system capabilities, handling questions and solving incidents
  • Monitoring application logs
  • Detecting errors
  • Reviewing tickets send by end-users
  • Accepting & verifying errors
  • Managing users - adding / removing / adjusting accesses
  • Debugging tasks - mid level python knowledge needed
  • Onboarding process of new teams
  • Creating task definitions based on end-user behaviour
  • Implementing changes to shiny dashboards
  • Work closely with infrastructure team / 3rd line of support

Perfect candidate profile:

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area would be preferable
 
 
Professional Qualifications
  • Python enthusiast willing to learn and develop in that technology
  • Working knowledge of key SQL commands
  • Previous experience in using ServiceNow or similar application support platforms
  • Experience in developing / maintaining Shiny R dashboards or working experience with cloud solutions (AWS) would be an asset
  • Experience with agile software product design principles preferred
  • Must possess strong organizational, facilitation and critical thinking abilities
