About the project

For the next stage of the project we need to extend our teams in Wrocław and Warsaw. This is a challenging engagement where for the start the applications are being migrated to new data centre. Besides supporting the migration, the team will be responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing issues related to large number of applications. The customer is located in the Netherlands, the team will be cooperating with Dutch colleagues.

This is an ongoing recruitment process as we are going to employ number of people to support this project.

Your responsibilities

  • We are looking for various specialists in the field of technical application support, application administration, operation, installation & configuration.

  • In this role, depending on your skills, you might be involved in:

  • Installing, configuring and migrating applications onto the new environments.

  • Preparation of new releases of applications for installing and deployment of the changes to test/acceptance/production environments.

  • Analysing and troubleshooting problems with applications.

  • Fixing issues by applying configuration, data patches, scripting or dispatching to other parties for code fixes.

  • Ensure optimal availability and management of applications.

  • Cooperation with DBA or technical infrastructure administrators in resolving technical issues.

  • Identification and documentation of improvements that could be applied to the operations of applications and when appropriate their implementation.

Our requirements

  • Former background with application technical support (administration or operation), including analysis and troubleshooting of issues

  • Hands on with Windows Server, Linux or AIX and corresponding scripting

  • Experience with installation and deployment of applications to various environments

  • Acquaintance with systems and infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios)

  • Familiarity with analysing data in database (MS SQL, Oracle), SQL and data patching

  • Technical experience with Application Servers configuration and troubleshooting (e.g. IIS, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss)

  • Good command of spoken and written English

  • Willingness to learn and acquire new knowledge


  • Practical knowledge of scheduling tools (preferably Tivoli Workload Scheduler)

  • Familiarity with Virtualization aspects (e.g. VMWare)

  • Experience with administration / configuration of Databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL)

  • Knowledge of automatic deployment tools (e.g. XL Deploy, Jenkins)
