    Currently we are looking for candidates for the position of:

    Application Support Specialist

    Workplace: Gdańsk
    Miejsce pracy: Gdańsk

    Main responsibilities:

    • Support of applications in the Financial Accounting area (experience in AP and/or AR is required);
    • Communication and structured follow up with B and C level support regarding SAP topics in the area of Financial Accounting;
    • Analysis, management and resolution of several kinds of incident tickets (YourdoCes, SAP, Sharepoint, SSF etc);
    • Contribute to process improvements;
    • Provide support following up on and closing incident tickets in a timely manner;
    • SAP support during quarter end closing periods;
    • Testing activities in the area of IPD (Internal payment demand) and OCR (Optical Character Recognition);
    • Maintenance of specific knowledge database.

    Core competences and skills:

    • Functional experience in AP and AR module;
    • Profound knowledge of SAP;
    • Knowledge of the Workflow 3 will be considered a strong plus;
    • Ability to work in complex environments;
    • Team work, especially ability to collaborate within virtual team;
    • Flexibility as well as the ability to work under pressure;
    • Strong analytic problem-solving;
    • Structured and methodical problem solving attitude;
    • Strong written and oral communication skills;
    • Customer oriented mindset;
    • Advanced English language skills.
