We are currently looking for:

Application Support Specialist
Location: Gdańsk/remotely

 

Please note: this role covers USA business day, which means working between 15 – 23 Polish time. This person can work remotely full time from any location after a few weeks of training.

 

Role overview:

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for the ongoing end-user support, and maintenance of cloud hosted application platform(s), to support our enterprise users, and business processes. You will utilize the application management framework recommended by the vendor(s) in order to ensure “always on” services to our business partners and end users, as well as an optimal end user experience.

What you will do:

  • Provide outstanding customer service/user support, with continuous focus on the usability of the platform; troubleshooting and resolving issues for end-users
  • Work with the team to plan and implement maintenance functions that are required to support the platform
  • Provide support for operational processes such as user provisioning and access/account setup, using administrative tools and platform functionality
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve user adoption and data accuracy/completeness through the process of working with end-users on the system
  • Identify and automate routine or repetitive user management/administrative tasks
  • Work with multi-functional project teams to define, build, deploy and support additional new features or configurations in the platform
  • Provide metrics and report on health & performance of supported application platforms
  • Assist with gathering evidence for periodic IT and financial audits
  • Encourage trust-based, cooperative relationships with end-users
  • Work independently and run assignments, timelines and deliverables effectively
  • Proactively work with the team on opportunities to improve/streamline platform operations

What you will need:

  • Experience with providing end user support for Enterprise/Cloud SaaS productivity platforms
  • Ability to communicate effectively - providing periodic status updates
  • Attention to detail, and ability to monitor and audit services
  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken

What will set you apart:

  • Experience with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket), GitHub, and DevOps platform user support and administration
  • Experience with ServiceNow user support and administration
  • Experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, or general scripting languages
  • ITIL Certification
