AR Accountant with German

Your responsibilities

  • Conducting collection process for the all overdue customers.

  • Performing AR month/quarter end closing activities.

  • Conducting order release/blocking process.

  • Allocation customer incoming payments in SAP.

  • Preparing and booking specific reserve proposals.

  • Preparing aging reports, accounts reconciliations on a monthly basis.

  • Responding to customers inquiries via phone and email.

  • Accounts clearings of credits, short payments and overpayments.

  • Performing recharges and cross charges in SAP system (intercompany invoicing)

  • Verifying and setting up the Customers credit limits (Credit management).

  • Verifying account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and from customers.

  • Revenue Recognition Reporting.

Our requirements

  • Fluency in German that enables professional communication (via phone & email)

  • Experience in accounting area (preferably in shared service environment) would be an asset.

  • Background in Linguistic, Philology, Economics, Business Administration or related.

  • Knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of SAP preferred.

  • Experience in working with customers would be a great asset.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Team player.

  • Open-minded.
