Your responsibilities

  • Line management (including performance management) of the 7 people personnel aligned to the AR team, including a direct report of the Team Leader

  • Assuring service delivery for AR process (mainly Billing, Cash Collection and AR control)

  • Strategy development, setting and achieving operational objectives

  • Working closely with clients and maintaining good relationships; cooperation and communication with external and internal stakeholders (incl. auditors)

  • Acting as a point of contact for process/people related escalations

  • Ensuring the correctness of procedures and internal control function

  • Continuous training of the team (methods, organisation, performance improvement), reviewing work of staff and providing constructive feedback

  • Continuous improvement: seeking and acting on ways to improve daily work processes to enhance quality, productivity and customer service

Employer requirements

  • University degree in Finance / Accounting or an accounting certification is highly desirable

  • Proven track of professional experience in the area of accounting services (including Accounts Receivable / Billing / Collection)

  • 2+ years of managerial experience in an accounting department

  • Knowledge of AR process gained in SSC/BPO sector is highly desirable

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup)

  • Fluent English (min. C1 level)

  • Experience in transition / migration / process improvement / process automation within accounting processes would be an asset
