AR Team Leader

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Active support to Accounts Receivable & Lease Administration Manager in managing and motivating the Accounts Receivable Team of between 10 and 20 accounting professionals
  • Responsible for the Accounts Receivable Team’s deliverables within cash allocation, perioding invoicing, credit controlling, cash collection and reconciliation areas
  • Participating in employees’ development by training, coaching, delegating and sharing constructive feedback
  • Acting as back-up to Accounts Receivable & Lease Administration Manager in case of absence
  • Performance of operational work within cash allocation, perioding invoicing, credit controlling, cash collection and reconciliation areas
  • Support in building strong professional relationships with the Client (daily communication, MSR calls)
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are valid and updated regularly where needed
  • Supporting in managing escalations, monitoring escalated issues and ensuring timely resolution
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support in monitoring the performance and quality of activities performed based on agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs)
  • Identifying and reporting risks, cooperation with the audit team

Requirements:

  • Fluent English is a must
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Client Accounting (within real estate would be an asset)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in team management
  • End-to-end understanding of accounts receivable processes
  • Education within Real Estate / Finance and Banking / Economics
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Yardi knowledge would be an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio)
  • Proactive approach with Client
  • Strong commitment to quality, orientation to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a highly changeable working environment
  • Team player and fast learner
