Your responsibilities

  • Pipeline and efficiency within own Area

  • Resource requesting from SGLs and adapting Area resources to FOTs according to feature priority and team’s competence profile in cooperation with the line organization

  • Deliverables in the scope of the Area

  • Ownership of backlog items and Area commitments within own Area to secure delivery of e2e integrated features in FOTs

  • Planning Area HW needs

  • Planning, execution, and reporting of the tests for the features owned by the Area

  • Meeting DoD requirements at FB and Sprint exit reviews

  • Follows that automation targets are met / improves automation ratio

Our requirements

  • Good understanding of Agile software development

  • Very good knowledge of Scrum framework

  • Proven experience in programming and/or software testing

  • Experience in estimation and task planning

  • Understating of project management aspects

  • Leadership and problem solving skills

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Attention to details

  • Fluent English, both spoken and written


  • Basic project management experience

  • Understanding of Kanban, Continuous Integration and Lean Software Development

  • Certificate proving Scrum skills and knowledge

  • Experience in team leading

  • Knowledge of quality tools and techniques

Mobile Networks is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Radio Frequency Software department is looking for motivated professionals for the position of Area Product Owner. RF Software is responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, testing and maintaining radio products’ software for various radio access technologies, including GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G. We are divided into self-organizing teams, working in Agile environment. Our products are developed mainly in C++ and C on several software architecture layers, including those close to hardware, as well as on higher levels of abstraction. We are also responsible for our products’ integration throughout the whole product life cycle, which is performed in the automated Continuous Integration environment.

Our Tribe, the Runtime Algorithms, is responsible for specification, development, maintenance and testing of software components handling for runtime and adaptive algorithms operating at radio modules. These cover mostly digital predistortion, passive intermodulation cancellation and antenna (beamforming) calibration. Tools of our daily work are C++, Yocto, git, gerrit and Matlab.
