Your responsibilities

  • Involvement in the initiation, planning, executing and closing of various projects under the guidance of the Hoist Finance Project Manager, Programme Manager and Head of PMO were applicable.

  • Assist in the coordination of Hoist Finance resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Assist in the definition of Business Cases in order to define project scope, objectives and associated benefits, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.

  • Work closely with Finance, Operations and IT in the preparation and running of projects or work streams.

  • Ensure that all project elements you are involved in are delivered on-time, within scope and to budget.

  • Assist in the development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress

  • Help identify, manage and mitigate project risks.

  • Assist in the creation and updating of project documentation.

  • Cooperate with international colleagues in order to successfully execute projects.

  • PMO project communications and reporting.

  • PMO business case & benefits ratification.

Our requirements

  • Have previously held a Junior Project Management, Project Assistant or Project Coordinator role, ideally in international matrix organisations, with experience in delivering projects in extremely challenging fast-paced environments.

  • In your career to date, you will have been involved in successfully delivering many projects. This will be supported by the credibility to work with senior stakeholders and engage collaboratively with every aspect of the project lifecycle.

  • You will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a relevant Project Management qualification.

  • Good interpersonal, analytical and team skills are essential. The ability to build and maintain excellent relationships, foster collaboration and always bring a pragmatic approach to your work. Add to that your ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities and tasks, you will quickly become an invaluable member of our team.

  • Fluent spoken and written business level Polish & C1 /C2 level English are required, being able to converse in other European languages would be a distinct advantage.

The role

Working as part of the Project Management Office you will be involved in the delivery of small/medium sized projects across the organisation in any area of our activities. On larger projects you may be assisting a more Senior Project Manager to deliver a smaller sub project or work stream as part of their project or programme.

In addition you will undertake project coordination activities to help us manage all projects with the overall Hoist Project Portfolio, this will include element such as PMO reporting, communications, finance etc.

You will be based in our Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Wroclaw and will be involved in guiding, advising, running and supporting the delivery of Hoist Finance projects across the group. You will collaborate effectively with our Operations, IT and Finance teams.

As you might expect, identifying, highlighting and resolving issues will be vital aspects of your work as will actively helping to explore ways of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of everything we do in the PMO, bringing your creativity, experience and enthusiasm to making sure the next projects we run are even better than the last. We anticipate that there will be an element of European travel as part of your role, although this is dependent on the projects being run.

This role would suit a person who has started their journey in the field of Project, Programme and Portfolio Management, but who would like to join our academy to move it onto the next level in the their career through a combination of mentoring, coaching, education and training.
