Your responsibilities
Delivery BAU IFRS9 processes relation to regions and group including control monitoring and review
Support impairment simulations and analysis and speed up the analysis process using ‘out of the box’ ideas on solution development
Promote a culture of control awareness and best practice across the impairment process
Support development of new impairment related analysis solutions using tools like SAS, Python / QlikSense, Tableau or similar
Support for other team members (technical and substantive)
Ability to effectively work with global and regional teams in risk, finance and relevant transformation functions where needed
Our requirements
Work experience in financial institution of 5+ years
Bachelor’s degree n numerate subject or IT, e.g. mathematics/ statistics/ economics or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
Previous experience in credit risk (preferably modelling and IFRS 9) or Finance
Strong communication skills and out of box thinking is essential
Knowledge of SAS programming (SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide) and/or SQL and/or Python and/or R
Strong Excel skills
Business knowledge of credit and market risk will be preferred
Experience with data quality issues and mitigation
Analytical thinking (ability to draw conclusions / critical insights from data)

Job Description
Wholesale / Impairment Reporting team within Risk department is responsible for maintenance and development of impairment reporting and simulations for IFRS-9 accounting standard. The role will work with the group or regional sub-teams and cooperate with the wider team in delivering BAU reporting and contribute to change initiatives. The role is responsible to provide high quality, timely and accurate, information, analysis and Reporting to support impairment calculation processes globally.
