Associate Hardware Testing Engineer

The Electrical Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development of components, small systems, quality systems, processes or materials.
 
This role in summary

Currently, we are seeking a full-time Hardware Verification & Validation (V&V) to support the electronic controls verification and Validation team. The position is best suited for someone with a strong engineering background and who has at least 1+ years of experience in Hardware testing.  As the Hardware V&V, you will be responsible for the development testing plan on different range of appliance products from multiple hardware performance perspectives. You will have a good conceptual  understanding of embedded hardware design and troubleshooting. 

Your responsibilities will include
  • Complete the UL / IEC  Electronics Module Certification reports
  • Interpret compliance standards and define actions needed to meet the standard
  • Test appliance controls and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) and other products for different aspects prototype evaluation, engineering development, etc
  • Plan and execute Environmental , Hardware relevant standard’s requirements, product or control FMEA (Failure modes Effects and Analysis) and DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Actions)
  • Write Test Reports and participate in Schematic, Layout, DVP&R, FMEA and Test Plan reviews.
  • Automatise testing with the help of leading test platforms like PLC (programmable Logic Controllers) programming
Minimum requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Master degree preferred)
  • 1+ Years of experience with electrical or electronics
Preferred skills and experiences
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience with Electrical or Electronics certification laboratories.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, Network Analyzers/ Spectrum Analyzers, High Frequency Testing, Still Hands on Individual Contributions.
  • Experience on UL/IEC 60730-1, IEC 60335-1, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001 standards.
  • Hands-on skills required with Hardware development testing such as soldering, desoldering, troubleshooting
