The right candidate will possess a mix of operational leadership, communication and continuous improvements skills in the delivery of service and support of the Intercompany Export Process.
As Intercompany Export Specialist you provide a professional level of support by applying a broad knowledge of Medtronic processes, tools and policies focusing on Export and Intercompany movements. You have the ability to monitor product and information flows as well as resolving issues in an efficient, compliant and effective way to ultimately strive for the highest level of customer experience.
Responsibilities include processing and monitoring stock transfer orders to downstream Medtronic Distribution Centers in the Emerging Markets, deliveries and shipments in ERP (i.e. SAP) systems, handle all incoming e-mails to (shared) mailboxes, dealing with special requests.
Furthermore, you are responsible for effective issue resolution and communication towards the customer. In order to adequately resolve issues, you need to perform root cause investigation, coordinate issues with other teams, have attention for detail, analyze and assess data and deviations.
The job entails close working relationships with local downstream DC’s, regulatory, logistics operations, transport, trade compliance and our supply chain planning department.
The challenge is getting to know the customer, comply with their specific export/import requirements, take care of their needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
To be successful in this role, you are a pro-active team player with a distinct drive for execution and results. You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and are able to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues in other departments and disciplines. Managing several tasks and projects at once poses no problem for you.
University degree - Licencjat/Inzynier
3+ years’ experience in export related customer care/service, order management or logistics
Fluent in English
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Computer literacy (MS-Office and ERP systems)
Strong sense of responsibility and high flexibility
Able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and to deal with stress
Pro-Active role in communicating with all parties involved in regional processes, and identify needs
Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Result orientation by using data, KPI’s/Metrics and making active use of tools and systems like MOS, CAP and Lean Sigma
Experience with Emerging Markets and/or Intercompany
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
To be successful in this role you are a team player with a hands-on mentality. You are result and quality orientated. You are strong in mastering and visualizing complex end to end processes and understand the connection between data elements. You are flexible and supportive to change. You have a strong affinity with systems.

To support our Emerging Markets Export department, we are currently looking for a full-time customer focused, pro- active and accurate (associate) Intercompany Export Specialist to work cross-business and cross- regional.
Our Emerging Market Export Intercompany team forms the first point of contact for stock transfer orders and inquiries from Distribution Centers in Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, India, APAC, China and Latin America.
