Customer Orders & Sales: Work in close partnership with buyers and external merchandisers and the internal customer service department to gain orders and deliver the critical paths for short and long-term selling
Forecasting: Manage account forecasts by utilizing internal tools and data sources available. Continually reviewing and updating forecasts in response to changing brand and customer performance to ensure sales are maximized and inventory is effectively managed.
Range Planning: Taking part in the range building process (market data-based feedback during VLR presentations), selling in and executing effective range plans in line with local BA team recommendations,
Promotional Planning & Trade Execution: Owning and managing the promotional plan from initiation through to implementation with the support and input from brand activation. Responsibility for given promotional budget spends. Working together with Brand Activation and Sales Support to ensure first-class trade implementation (i.e. in-store activity, catalogs, online, etc.
Regular store/market visits: to organize and undertake regular visits to assess the store compliance and competitive activity.
Close cooperation with all dept internally to ensure successful relationships across the organization (with emphasis on coordination of AR with the finance department)
Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of retailer and toy market dynamics. Annual account planning with longer-term strategies and objectives making business decisions that result in profitable growth.
Internal Working Relationships: Customer Services, Brand Activation, Finance, Planners
External Working Relationships: Customers, Promotional Agencies
Ability to manage by influence, and build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to challenge effectively
Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and insights
Proven ability to work as a team player, utilizing influencing and leadership skills to make positive changes
Highly organized but adaptable with a positive attitude to change
Experience of problem-solving and managing deadlines under pressure
Excellent MS Office Skills
Several years of experience in Sales, working with key accounts
Solid account management experience
Channel management experience
The key role of the Associated Manager Key Account is to achieve sales volume and revenue targets and where applicable to support Sales Representatives. Identify and implement specific business strategies for designated accounts to effectively deliver targets. Manage day-to-day relationships with customers.
