Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute audit plans
- Coordinate the work of assigned Internal Audit professionals (in Poland and the UK) that deliver audit reports, in accordance with Internal audit and regulatory standards
- Manage audit activities for a component of a product line at the regional or country level including a portion of the annual audit plan
- Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for various tasks
- Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on the overall control environment and audit approach
- Advise and assists the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption
- Apply an in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and technology to a specific product or function
- Use communication skills to influence a wide range of internal audiences including product, function, or regional executive management partners
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
- Travel: Up to 20% (currently all travels are on hold due to pandemic)
Our requirements
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of different Internal Audit standards, policies and local regulations;
- Broad and comprehensive knowledge of high risk areas including: Compliance for Capital Markets and Investment Banking Businesses; Regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of financial services Compliance regulations, standards, and standard business internal policies
- Specific subject matter expertise regarding technology application control disciplines and a solid business understanding of the Financial Service Industry, especially those associated with the Compliance and Regulatory Risk.
- Experience in managing integrated internal audit and assurance delivery within a matrix reporting environment.
- Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style.
- Significant relevant experience in Internal Audit
- People management experience preferred
- Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
- BA/BS or equivalent. Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
