About the project
We are looking for Automation Developer that will be responsible for improving and development of tooling application. The focus of Beatbox tool (Backend Automation Tool in a Box) is to integrate frontend requests (business process) with backend automation (technical process).
Beatbox Team goal is to integrate our tool with the leading cloud platform Microsoft Azure and SMA (Service Management Automation) instead of Orchestrator 2019.
Microsoft Azure is a platform as a service (PaaS) solution for building and hosting solutions using Microsoft’s products and in their data centers. It is a comprehensive suite of cloud products that allow users to create enterprise-class applications without having to build out their own infrastructure.
SMA is a set of tools that is integrated as the SMA extension in Windows Azure Pack for Windows Server. It used to construct, run, and manage runbooks to integrate, orchestrate, and automate IT business processes.
Your responsibilities
- Currently our platform runs on Orchestrator and integrates with ServiceNow by home-grown developed connectors and automation solutions. Orchestrator will be replaced with SMA solution - you will have a chance to observe and take an active participation in the change process.
- Our focus is set on automation and development of our platform by connection to Microsoft Azure
- Further growth of our application will be ensured by implementing Azure Cognitive Search solution
- You will have chance to build independent, flexible platform works for On-premise and Cloud solutions
- You will have opportunity to be a part of growing team
- Developing and testing automation workflows and technical specifications,
- Implement frameworks & methodologies for automation delivery, being responsible for automation of customer processes
- You will work with work closely with architects, business analytics and project owner to execute against product roadmaps
- On daily basis we are communicating and coordinating actions with the 3rd parties worldwide during many interesting and challenging projects
Our requirements
- Advanced PowerShell scripting knowledge
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Java Script, Python, C/C++, and C#
- Advanced Knowledge of MS SQL databases and Windows Servers
- Experience with Azure DevOps solution and running projects using Azure DevOps platform
- Knowledge about Cloud-based solutions would be a plus
- Experience working as a developer on Agile teams - Solid understanding of automation processes, approaches - Agile methodologies and development lifecycle.
- Understanding of business process flows of different customers & analyze automation potential
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose, resolve and deliver root cause analysis for automatic alerts and issues, resolving development issues, and driving them to closure
- Identify, investigate repetitive issues and cooperate with other support groups (i.e. network, server, AD)
- Be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, transforming environment
- English level B2+
