Recruitment for
A global leader in manufacturing, due to continued growth and investment as well as acquisitions, now has a requirement for an experienced Automation Engineer for the CEE. This role will cover multiple sites and be based in either Germany/Poland/Hungary/Slovakia/Romania or Czechia. The role is part of the regional manufacturing excellence and projects team, ensuring Best in Class methodologies are both implemented and standardised across the region.
Your responsibilities
Significant and demonstrated experience in electrical and software engineering combined with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership environment
Excellent working knowledge and/or certified training of Siemens S7 300/400 PLCs with extensive programming and diagnostic experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of motion controls systems deployed in a manufacturing environment with certified training ideally on Siemens Simotion/Sinamics drive or similar motion systems
Working knowledge of SCADA and line reporting systems with certified training or demonstrated experience ideally with Rockwell Factory Talk or Siemens WINCC suites
Knowledge of object-oriented programming language such as VB would highly advantageous
Experience in the design and implementation of electrical control systems
Capable of developing detailed electrical design drawings and post-project operational documentation and controls
Capable of developing technical Electrical calculations and provide accurate mapping, schedules, reports, specifications and other required information
Excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills with a real ‘can-do’ and ‘lets get it done’ attitude
Capable of working both autonomously and also be a valued team member depending on the tasks at hand
Technical English is ESSENTIAL and the ability/willingness (when permitted) to travel to the respective sites and lead by example
