Your responsibilities

  • Define Automation Standards and URS with central engineering counterpart

  • Lead design review and standardization for Automation and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across major capital investment projects

  • Work with contractors / suppliers to ensure latest standards and design requirements are implemented for concerned projects

  • Coordinate project activities amongst contractor – project team & central engineering for automation

  • Ensure processes & equipments in automation area are safe for people, products and environment as well as in line with all corresponding local and Nestlé regulations

  • Ensure their engineering competences support the innovation & renovation process, maintaining links for new products & technologies

  • Develop safety culture

  • Handover of the documentation related to part of the project to the final client

  • Assist training and skills assessment of technicians

Our requirements

  • Degree/diploma: Automation Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years in the corresponding technical field, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry

  • Minimum 3 years field experience, driving or supporting his/her area of expertise

  • Successful deployment of known technologies or solutions

  • Personnel supervisory experience – high level of autonomy

  • Participation in the development of engineering projects,

  • Participation in the start-up or commissioning of technical equipment or production lines

  • Participation in multi-disciplinary teams that focuses in process, product or packing optimisation/continuous improvement

  • Basics of costing guidelines

  • Work following defined objectives and proactively tracking them

  • Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills

  • Analytical skills in problem solving

  • Upper-intermediate English level

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • SEP qualifications

  • Ready to travel across Europe up to 10% of the time

  • LEAN/TPM experience

  • Problem-solving tools knowledge

  • SAP knowledge
