Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for maintaining the continuity of the production process in the field of industrial automation,
- Organize the proactive management and support the existing automation infrastructure for optimal performance and minimized downtime.
- Programming and modernization of PLC controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA systems (InTouch, WinCC, FactoryTalk),
- Preparation of technical documentation,
- Preparation of technical specifications and selection of technical solutions (software, hardware, network),
- Implementation and testing of delivered process control systems,
- Install and deploy systems, software and peripherals as required, liaising with external vendors and service contractors as appropriate,
- Design, develop and implement process improvements on new and existing lines,
- Improve the overall quality of all systems,
- Supports new business and works in conjunction with others to develop/enhance working relationships with internal customers,
- Willingness to develop skills towards industry 4.0 technologies,
- Diagnosing and removing breakdowns and failures.
- Willingness to work in 3 or 4 shifts.
Our requirements
- Practical ability to program, modernize and commissioning of PLC / SCADA systems
- Knowledge of programming environments: InTouch (WonderWare Platform), SIMATIC STEP 7 WinCC (Siemens), RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk (Rockwell Automation),
- Ability to read, analyze and create electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams (AutoCAD, ePLAN),
- Essential experience required with PLC programming, RF-id systems, barcode systems, network topology, Robots/Cobots, systematic troubleshooting/problem solving skills,
- Experience of TCP/IP and Wide Area Network architectures,
- Knowledge of electrical / pneumatic / hydraulics issues,
- Very good Project and Time Management skills,
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools is welcome,
- Good written and verbal English skills
