Automation Project Manager

Location: Warszawa

Key Purpose:


In this role you will facilitate development of automation initiatives and projects from idea/concept, through the design, Proof of Concept, production trials, FAT, Commissioning and Qualification, to full working system that meets Pepsico safety and quality standards. This position is based in Warsaw with limited travelling requirements inside Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management responsibility over projects portfolio (E2E) focused on automation (mainly warehousing automation for a start);
  • Lead projects in the design, development, and qualification of automated processes, equipment, and systems (including managing the work of internal resources and outside vendors);
  • Develop and oversee projects agenda (schedule, resources, budgets);
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, equipment, systems, and infrastructure;
  • Lead multidisciplinary groups to deliver projects (not directly);
  • Cooperate with many different functions throughout organization (operations, warehousing, IT and others) on a daily level, also with key stakeholders, and senior managers to deliver E2E projects portfolio agenda according to KPIs;

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Engineering/ Warehousing/ Manufacturing experience preferably in consumer products managing automation projects;
  • Leading automation projects experience is strongly preferred;
  • Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other operations related fields;
  • Ability to manage a highly dynamic workload;
  • High degree of independence, autonomy, drive and results orientation;
  • Excellent people skills (interaction, communication);
  • Strong computer and analytical skills (MS Office package with very good Excel);
  • Ability to read technical drawings;
  • Fluent English and Polish;
  • Driving license cat. B (majority of plants/warehouses is in near proximity to Warsaw);
  • WMS knowledge (nice to have);
  • Project Management qualification such as Prince2 or PMP (nice to have);
