AUTOMATION SERVICE MANAGER
Location: Gdańsk
Salary: 10 000 – 14 000 PLN brutto

 

The Automation Service Manager is responsible for ensuring MMC automation portfolio coordination to optimize MMC services quality and increases productivity for the Ensono MMC team. The Role will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration and communication with MMC teams and technical leaders to effectively identify areas where automation can create services quality improvement, efficiencies, process improvement, cost savings, resource optimization within MMC scope. This role also requires high level of curiosity and creativity to work around complex technical & business challenges.

 

On a strategic basis, the Role is responsible for collaborating with MMC leaders and peers across the Ensono operations organization. The Manager will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing automation opportunities through building and managing efficient portfolio. In addition, the Coordinator will ensure effective and efficient implementation of automation deliverables through planning and tracking automation delivery efforts. He or she will be responsible for identifying and removing potential roadblocks within Ensono or Client’s service management environments leveraging appropriate Ensono leadership support. The successful candidate must be a thoughtful and confident communicator with a proven ability to analyze issues and drive change in a fast-paced growth company. This role reports to Monitoring and Management Center director and will be located at Gdansk office location

 

Using your proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills you will help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to optimize our infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, plan, manage, and support IT Automation and Enablement initiatives to drive efficiencies for day-to-day operational efficiency of MMC teams.
  • Direct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues that can be solved with automation
  • Work with development teams to make sure the applications is production ready
  • Define and ensure quality control with strict adherence to standards, policies, and procedures
  • Implement and report metrics demonstrating the value add to the business and end user community
  • Coordinate projects. Develop & deliver improvement proposals and plans. Work with department managers and IT staff to understand full project scope for successful project management and implementation.

Knowledge

  • Good understanding of configuring management
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Linux or Network
  • Good experience and hands-on troubleshooting of Enterprise infrastructure of a large-scale 24x7 production environment
  • An understanding of Infrastructure technologies like Storage Area Networks and Networking.
  • Additional preferred knowledge:  VMware ESX, VSphere, Exchange, Cisco experience, Scripting, Public Cloud.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to collaborate and rally support
  • Passion for automation and monitoring instrumentation in the code
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of ITIL and its function within IT
  • Microsoft (PowerPoint, excel, word)
  • Customer Service skills at management level
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Experience establishing and documenting processes and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

 

Experience

  • Documented experience in infrastructure management
  • Experience in leading small to moderate cross departmental projects and initiatives (up to 10 team members)
  • Bachelor of Science/Computers/Engineering is preferred
