    Cluster Trade Finance delivers fast, client focused and central provision of trade finance products and services for all clients globally along the whole trade finance supply chain - electronically and traditionally. Our main products are documentary business (LC, Collections), bank payment obligation (BPO) and guarantees.

    We combine all services regarding Trade Finance products form product management, product specific / technical sales support up to run and change all TF IT-systems. Our systems provide content for CoBa customer portal as well as 3rd party platforms, e.g., Mitigram, E-Docs By using WebMethods, JavaScript and Java development, data from numerous inhouse-developed banking applications are integrated into our applications trying to keep the complexity out of the standard tool.

    Our main technologies are: Java, WebMethods, Informatica, IBM BPM, the Trade Finance solution is based on Finastra TI plus.

    Job Purpose

    In your role as Automation Tester – Trade Finance you will be a team member of testers, engineers and business annalists providing new Trade Finance solutions to the Bank. You will design and apply the Commerzbank test framework and develop test automation cases based on Selenium test solution. After you have been trained on this specific framework, you will design and develop test drivers and support automation of test cases. In order to fulfill the goal of increasing our continuous integration and continuous delivery of new software releases, a very high degree of test automation is required – you will be one of the central players to achieve this goal. 
    You are involved in the technical test life cycle of a software i.e automation of unit test, system integration test.

    Your main tasks are:

    • Analysis, create appropriate testcases and develop the according test drivers
    • Design and develop Selenium test automation strategy, test scenarios and test cases
    • Conduct the automated testcases (module and integration test)
    • Apply the test framework from Commerzbank
    • Maintain and control Selenium test automation system, monitor and control system stability and define and apply appropriate corrective measures where needed
    • Analysis and resolution of faults in the test automation system and support the test and development team at error analysis and bug fixing by providing improved test cases and test scenarios

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Has at least 2 years of experience in automated tests
    • Know Java, JavaScript and Selenium
    • Know English on communicative level (B1 at least)
    • Is willing to travel to Frankfurt in first months for knowledge transfer (2 weeks Frankfurt/ 2 weeks Poland)
