Your responsibilities
Design of engine components by Finite Element Analysis FEM in order to achieve performance and structural requirements, manufacturability, and business expectation – cost targets and delivery on time:
FEM modeling (mesh, BC’s and Loads application) of engine components – Ansys, Hyper Mesh
Perform structural FEM analysis aimed to meet life and dynamic requirements – Ansys
Post processing of analysis and results interpretation
Document technical data in reports and dedicated repositories
Lead and participate in Technical Reviews with Team and Project owner
Cooperate with Module Design and System Engineering in order to ensure capability and performance of engine and LPT Module components focusing on engine performance and safety
Proactively work with casting suppliers and machining shop solving manufacturability issues and simplifying production
Substantiate manufacturing Quality Notifications in production and quality systems, Manage Source Substantiation Validation (VSE)
Support instrumentation and certification of components according to Aviation Agency requirements
Develop and execute ideas for simplification, product robustness and cost reduction
Our requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Strong technical knowledge of engine components, material durability, manufacturing processes and material application in aviation industry
expertise and independence in FEM Analysis – static, dynamic (Ansys, HyperWorks – Hyper Mesh, HyperView)
Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes and material application in aviation industry
Fundamental knowledge and skills related to drawings drafting and 3d modelling. (CAD – UG)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
Strong oral and written communication skills – English, Polish
Basic knowledge of programming and scripting in order to standardize and simplify analysis process (Visual Basic, Ansys APDL, Python)
Availability to inspire and empower other Team Members from the Team and different departments
Proactivity and willingness to initiate ideas and problem solving,
Availability to work effectively in changing environment
