About the project
We are modernizing IT infrastructures for our customers and looking for an experienced Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Engineer with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based AWS technologies, with a firm grasp of AWS platforms, applications, and ability to customize them.
Provide technical leadership for CI/CD processes design implementation and process orchestration
Deployment and management of IaaC
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
Create standards and tools that enable faster delivery of software features with governance enforcement of coding and test standards
Support the migration of on-premise systems to AWS
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
Managing cloud environments in accordance with customers security guidelines
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives
Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
Must have technical / professional qualifications at least one of the following:
AWS SysOps engineer
AWS networking specialist
Solid cloud infrastructure management, ideally in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Hands on experience in network programming and infrastructure as code automation (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Cloudformation, etc…)
Containerization with Kubernetes or Docker
Cloud-native architectures, including public cloud PaaS / IaaS, micro-services, APIs
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
Strong Linux administration skills
Experience in other public clouds, especially GCP, Azure
