About the project
Currently we are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer – Cloud AWS for our Poland offices or remote to make the team even stronger.
Your responsibilities
Act as the trusted technical advisor for the clients to resolve complex AWS Infrastructure and DevOps challenges
Communicate effectively via video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities
Assist the clients with the configuration and deployment of their AWS infrastructure, which include but not limited to the following services: accounts, identity and access management, network architecture, application security, observability, cost optimization, and billing
Provide the clients with guidance on how to design their cloud applications for optimal scaling, including CDN design, load balancer setup, caching, compute optimizations, continuous integration and delivery pipeline, and others
Support EPAM’s clients and deploy solutions and deliver the workshops to educate and enrich clients’ knowledge
Support clients’ implementation of AWS products through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and more
Our requirements
Proficiency with Linux and Bash
Deep knowledge/ production experience with AWS – (3-4 years)
Production experience with microservices, containers, and container orchestration tools, preferably Kubernetes
Advanced level in Ansible and/or Terraform
Experience working at the lead position, driving the team, and providing guidance, assessing and estimating tasks and technical stories (4-7 members of the Team)
Ability to propose, describe and defend technical solutions and make data-driven decisions
Design, develop, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding SDLC and typical software development practices/methodologies
Able to document the work you or the team are doing
Able to design and implement monitoring tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
