About the project
This is an opportunity to be a key member of the European IT infrastructure team with accountability for delivering the migration of our existing on-premise DataCentre services to AWS. You will have previous experience of migration techniques and technologies specifically relating to AWS. A full understanding of traditional and Cloud based IT environments is expected along with solid scripting/DevOp skills. ( 6 months initial contract)
Your responsibilities
- Advise and perform migration of on-premise solutions to AWS
- Contribute effectively to the migration of our on-premise IT infrastructure to AWS
- Perform incident management and fault resolution following change management and best practise
- The role requires collaboration with European, US and China colleagues on global solutions
Our requirements
- Degree educated or relevant work experience (3+ years’ experience)
- Experienced in implementing and supporting server, storage, network and security solutions in AWS
- Experienced in DataCentre migrations would be advantageous and specifically to AWS would set you apart
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders through to technical project teams
- Accomplished in troubleshooting issues, monitoring of systems, scripting and ticketing systems
- Good English language skills, written and spoken
