About the project
As Azure Platform Architect you will be a part of Design Authority, the body that creates standards and recommendations, creates high-level designs, sets guidelines and verifies technical designs in collaboration with the multiple development teams as the advanced analytics platform evolves to deliver better applications.
Your responsibilities
- Implement data platform solutions for security and storage
- Propose platform improvements in terms of tools and new design approaches
- Support planning of migrations from legacy to new solutions
- Design logging and monitoring for the platform
- Document the solutions, share the knowledge, train/support other Team
Our requirements
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure SQL DB
- Synapse
- Azure Storage (Blob/Data Lake)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure DevOps
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Solid understanding of data processing/modelling and database design
- Experience with Azure analytical services in an architect role
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Azure RBAC model
- Extensive ETL experience
- Proven hands-on business intelligence development or data engineering experience
- Solid experience with data modelling, data warehouse design and data lake concepts and practices
- Knowledge of ML-related Azure services would be an asset
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role
- English written and verbal communication skills
