About the project
Critical Services Center of Excellence (CoE) as the subdivision of SoftServe, is a team of highly professional folks, with the primary focus on technology covering software architecture, startups, and enterprise technologies. Our format of the job is a consultancy for different projects, not tied to specific projects, technologies, timelines. We do DevOps for everything. We have developed a customer-trusted relationship and a strong partnership with Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. Being a part of the international community, we participate in major worldwide events (Google next, Google cloud meetups, Microsoft Build, Microsoft Ignite, etc.). The size of companies is from tech Startups to Forbes 500 Enterprises. With us, you will participate in a variety of cloud-oriented projects of different sizes and scales. This includes enterprise-scale migrations from on-prem to the cloud, designing and developing cloud-native applications, working with the latest and trending technologies.
Your responsibilities
Development and design of application-, infrastructure- and solution-scale systems
Working and configuring major Microsoft Azure services
Working with Azure Landing Zones, Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Frameworks, AKS on Azure Stack HCI, Azure VMWare Solution, all variations of Azure Arc - Servers, Data Services, App Services, etc
Implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
Scripting (PowerShell, Python or Shell)
Working with Infrastructure as Code (principles, tools, best practices) with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates;
Deploying, monitoring and administration of SQL/NoSQL DB
Designing, monitoring and gathering metrics platforms
Leading/guiding small teams of engineers to drive them, decompose the complexity to tasks, mentor them and back-up if needed
Creating technical specifications or architecture visions covering quality attributes, diagrams, associated risks, technical and system reqs
Working with highly available, fault-tolerant and secure cloud-native solutions
Cost optimization
Monitoring and logging
Cloud adoption projects
Modern DevOps and DevSecOps
Working with hybrid solutions with multiple cloud and on-premises
Working with Architecture modernization
Cooperating with Top DevOps architects in the company
Participating in discovery phases and workshops covering all technical aspects of the deal
