Our client is an European leader on the fat-and-oil market. The Company cooperates with manufacturers of the bakery, confectionery and dairy products. Due to continued development on the local market, we are now looking for a professional for the new rewarding role of:

B2B Sales Manager [Online or Phone Recruitment]

Place of work: Home-Office
Area of Responsibility: Poland

Core of the Role:

  • B2B Sales Manager will be the lead for B2B sales in Poland, reporting to the Export Manager, and will be working closely together with a team of R&D technologists from European sites
  • The main scope of the role will be business development in Poland
  • The ultimate strategic and tactical ownership of the customer in the sales phase, maintaining awareness of ongoing activities through the remaining part of the value chain for the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for profitable sales of products to small and medium sized customers, bakeries, confectionery/ice-cream producers, oil and fat distributors
  • Acquire new accounts and build clients’ portfolio in Poland from scratch
  • Establish relationships and be overall point of contact to all customers
  • Perform market research and business development in the market
  • Participate in business/sales meetings with clients (travelling over 50% of the time)
  • Develop and execute targets and actions
  • Secure a long term project pipeline
  • Understand the customers’ needs
  • Perform visit reports on a frequent basis
  • Participation in conferences, fairs
  • Maintain market knowledge and competitor analysis
  • Secure compliance with Company’s internal processes and guideline

Requirements:

  • Higher Education
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B oil and fat sales/contacts with producers of ice-cream, confectionery, bakeries, restaurant chains
  • Demonstrated success in a highly collaborative environment with excellent English written and oral communications skills
  • Fluent in Polish; fluency in Russian/Ukrainian considered as bonus
  • Action-oriented and innovative
  • “Hands on” approach that can quickly develop constructive and positive working relations with peers, customers and subordinates
  • Ability to achieve high-level results within a challenging customer environment
  • Strong planning, organization and communication skills
  • The gift of persuasion, target orientation
  • Resistance to stress
  • Strong business culture
  • Readiness for frequent business trips
  • Active driving license category B
