Your responsibilities
Working as a part of the Audio Visual Tribe development team in Warsaw or Vienna, the Backend Developer will be responsible for implementing backend applications together with team members in other locations. The AV dev-team in Warsaw/Vienna supports the business needs of the AV vertical for content and client management, live operations, and post-match reporting. Most of the team daily tasks involve working with Git, Golang, PHP, developing user interfaces in JavaScript (React, TypeScript, GraphQL) and migrating the applications to run cloud-native (AWS). Our projects have extensive documentation on Confluence. We organize our work with Jira.
We are looking for someone who has a clear passion for development and creating state of the art solutions, has an interesting in learning Golang, has a passion for new and current technological trends, design and development processes.
As our Backend Developer you will:
- Work on developing Tidio app (new features & maintenance) in Scrum (mostly 2 weeks sprints, small teams),
- Actively cooperate with your Scrum team consisting of Backend, Frontend, and QA Engineers, Designer, UX Researcher, and a Product Owner,
- Contribute to developing new solutions while sharing your opinion and ideas during Scrum Events, Guild meetings, or simply in Slack channels,
- Use the following tech stack: PHP 8, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ and Docker.
Our requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience with PHP (Symfony framework) or 1+ year experience with Golang
Familiarity with web APIs (REST / GraphQL)
Good knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL)
A problem-solving attitude, i.e. not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex
problems and determining how best to solve them
Communication in English is a must
Willingness to learn new technologies
Positive, team player with a can-do attitude
See any problem as a challenge and search for solutions together with a team
Dedication to create innovative and maintainable products

Experience with PHP Unit
Willingness to practice TDD and pair programming
Experience with Go programming language
Knowledge of Protocol Buffers, gRPC and Websockets
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GitLab), Docker / AWS / Kubernetes and container hosting infrastructure.
Knowledge of (or interest in learning) modern software system observability stack e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
