About the project
We are searching for a passionate Backend Developer to join our team and support our work on internal products - in both existing and upcoming projects.
We specialise in creating interactive projects with a Continuous Integration and Development process. Our work methodology is based on Agile Scrum. In developing our product, we implement modern technologies, including, but not limited to:
• Microservices based on Docker containers;
• Kubernetes / Rancher;
• Node.JS / Meteor;
• ReactJS and Blaze;
• Reactive App Development;
• Cordova-Based Mobile Applications.

• Agile management: Scrum
• Issue tracking tool: Jira
• Code reviews: Bitbucket
• Version control system: GIT
• Build server: Bamboo
Your responsibilities
Implementing new backend functionally prepared to meet BDD requirements;
Writing reusable, testable and efficient code;
Participation in design review & code review process;
Investigating, analyzing, and evaluating new technologies;
Performing system testing and validation procedures; programming;
Supporting bug fixes, change requests and functional enhancements on the code.
Our requirements
Mid-level experience as Backend Developer or similar role;
Knowledge and hands-on experience of MongoDB;
Excellence in JavaScript and Node.js;
Languages - English is the official language of communication at Linguahouse;
Effective communication - we value an open and comfortable working atmosphere. To be a part of the team, you'll need to be able to both voice your opinions and compromise;
A proactive approach, strong internal motivation and a team-oriented spirit.
Optional
Practical knowledge of Meteor would be a plus.
