Banking Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Daily postings of bank statements

• Reconciliation of bank accounts

• Identification of all reconciling items and ensure that, these items are cleared as soon as possible

• Relevant journal entries preparation and processing

• Preparation of Weekly Cash Reports and Cash Forecasts accordingly with the deadlines, scheduled by Corporate Treasury

• Daily Monitoring of Cash in terms of positive balances on bank accounts

• Booking the revaluation of all foreign currency bank accounts

• Netting upload and booking, IC settlements monitoring, netting payment requests preparation, cooperation with other departments to clear the outstanding balances

• Month End Close activities

• Preparation of ad hoc reports, status updates

• Responsible for meeting the defined SLAs, KPI reporting

• Active participation in projects, improvements and standardization process

• Delivering consistent quality across Herbalife businesses, functions and regions

• Ensure all areas of work comply with the relevant SOX regulations

About the role:

As a Banking Accountant, you will be responsible for all Banking related accounting day-to-day activities for the countries served by EMEA GBS in assigned scope. In particular ensuring that bank related postings are done timely and accurately, cash forecasts are performed accurately and bank accounts reconciliations are high quality and required follow-up actions are performed as necessary. As a Banking Accountant, you will cooperate with various teams in GBS Krakow, as well as with the local Finance teams. You will also act as team subject matter expert, support more junior staff and is actively involved in knowledge retention and transfer as required due to organizational changes.
