Your responsibilities
Independent programming of Beckhoff controllers (including PLC, visualizations, bus systems)
Analysis and error resolution on the production line (software troubleshooting)
Real-time tests and validation of designed software (simulation, visualization, communication, optimization)
Experience in programming in compliance with safety standards
Commissioning at customer and end-customer manufacturing plants, cooperation with other departments on-site in the automotive industry, application technology, body-in-white: welding, paint shops, intralogistics, warehouse
Start-up of peripheral devices used in industrial appliances
Preparation of technical documentation and specification
Supporting production processes, providing technical assistance, software troubleshooting
Optimizing device run parameters
Customer runoffs and on-site production rump-ups, FAT, SAT Acceptance Tests
Participation in projects executed by Sii in plants located worldwide (among others: Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, UK, USA, Brazil or China)
Our requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, similar)
At least 2 years of experience in a related field (Control Engineering)
Experience in working on large-scale projects from start to finish
Experience with Beckhoff PLC controllers and/or high-level language programming
Knowledge of TwinCat industrial software
Knowledge of inverters and drivers
Knowledge of the industrial networks
Ability to read and create technical and design documentation, including requirements definition, functional design specifications and test documentation
Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level)
Readiness for business trips max. 60-70% of the time per year
Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, open-minded and team worker
Proactivity and ability to work in a new environment
