Discovery has undertaken a major initiative to transform our People & Culture function through the end to end design and implementation of a future state solution including the development of new shared Global Services, and implementation of technologies including SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow that will deliver a digitally enabled People & Culture function and workplace.

In this position you will be responsible for providing administrative support across a range of our benefits processes. You will utilize your excellent customer services skills to resolve queries related to benefits policies, processes and programs and will deliver an exceptional employee experience at all times. You will be an organized and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging international environment.

Benefits Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across a range of benefits programs and processes, including monthly benefits and payroll reporting
  • Facilitate the enrolment of benefits, acting as approver where needed and ensuring full documentation completed by employees
  • Receive, investigate and respond to employee queries relating to benefits policies and procedures in accordance with knowledge articles available on the People Portal and benefit systems (Benify).
  • Escalate complex employee queries to the direct manager or to the Benefits CoE and support in resolution of queries.
  • Act as a Super User of our Benefits technologies, and educate employees on how to perform self-service transactions
  • Run administration activities for annual enrolment benefit elections ensuring all information sent to 3rd party providers
  • Create reports and provide information on employee benefits as requested, including regular benefits auditing Run benefits invoicing from 3rd party providers including support in invoice query resolution and management.
  • Support Benefits CoE in collating market data and analysis where needed
  • Run data analytics using in-built tools to provide trends to CoE)
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across benefits processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the HR / payroll area ( experience in Shared Services Centre is a plus)
  • Previous experience delivering benefits administration services
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and statutory and legal requirements
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, Benify and other enabling technologies preferred
  • Exposure to benefits administration across multiple countries or markets preferred
  • Motivated self-starter with pro-active approach to work who seeks information, challenges norms and drives efficiency
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines on multiple projects or tasks concurrently
  • Comfortable working with a global consumer base and different cultures
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of French is a significant advantage)
