About the project
The eLake as a multi-purpose analytics platform which consists of a traditional DWH (Oracle) and a Hadoop environment. You will be the go-to person for all Hadoop related topics and own the Platform.
Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the eLake's Hadoop Cluster overall architecture,
- You will consult and discuss architectural concepts and technical decisions with Hadoop Platform Owner and Development Leads,
- You will be responsible for documenting architecture and technical decisions following Bosch regulations,
- You will be responsible for tools selection,
- You will consult and discuss data modeling with data modeler/data architects,
- Driving topics such as monitoring or authorization/authentication concept,
- Bringing in your own ideas for the platform design and its further roadmap,
- Bringing in your own ideas for technical and organizational enhancements.
Our requirements
- Deep expertise of the Cloudera distribution, Spark, HDFS, Hive/Impala, Python, ELT is required,
- Proven experience of completed Big Data projects,
- Experience with architectural frameworks (such as TOGAF, EAM etc.),
- Proficiency in Python is required,
- Design & Implementation of AIM concepts,
- Design of a platform wide monitoring solution for Platform as well as for Applications running in the Hadoop Cluster,
- Design and Implementation of Support Concept for the Hadoop Platform / Applications running in the Hadoop Cluster,
- You need Kafka, Airflow, Kudu, Sqoop knowledge to consult application developers, perform troubleshooting and adapt the respective configuration of the services,
- Oracle knowledge is a plus,
- English B2.
