About the project

For our customer, leader in consulting, a partner of the largest technology providers - Microsoft, AWS, Google, IBM, we are looking a Big Data Engineer to join the international remote team and support projects from various industries.
Project information:

• Start date: ASAP/ depending on candidate’s availability
Your responsibilities
Analyzing and organizing raw data
Collecting and combining raw information from diverse sources
Preparing data for modeling (prescriptive and predictive)
Interpretation of patterns and trends
Building data pipelines and systems
Conducting data analyses and reporting on results
Searching for new data acquisition opportunities and exploring different ways to improve data quality
Building algorithms, prototypes and developing new analytical tools
Assessment of business needs and goals
Collaborating with data scientists and architects on the projects
Creating documentation
Our requirements
Proficiency in modelling and maintaining Data Lakes with PySpark – preferred basis
Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g. Databricks)
Ability to model and optimize workflows (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow)
Experience with Streaming Analytics services (e.g. Kafka, Grafana)
Analytical, innovative and solution-oriented mindset
Teamwork, strong communication and interpersonal skills
Rigor and organizational skills
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems/engineering, computer science and management or related
Optional
Ability to implement custom APIs and connectors
Knowledge of automation services (e.g. Terraform, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins)
Knowledge of visualization technologies (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, Looker)
Cloud certifications
