Billing Analyst

Your responsibilities
- Reviewing approved invoices prior to delivery and resolving any disputes/issues
- Delivering all invoices to our clients via email and/or via legal eBilling systems
- Tracking and management of purchase orders (POs) for existing engagements and coordination with client contacts when either a new PO is required, or an existing PO needs to be extended
- Collecting of all outstanding past due invoices
- Ensuring prompt cash collection (working with client contact and internal partners to identify unapplied receipts)
- Maintaining record of collections activities for all outstanding invoices
- Ownership of Accounts Receivable functions in PeopleSoft, our internal accounting system, including cash posting and write-offs
- Co-ownership of recurring monthly close processes, including Treasury–related journal entries and monthly cash flow tracking
- Coordinating with sales team and clients regarding billing method verification, vendor setups, and additions/modifications for new clients or engagements in eBilling systems
- Coordinating with Knowable systems team regarding improvements to invoice templating for more efficient and compliant delivery
- Frequent communication with members of client’s leadership team (Director, General Counsel, Vice President) regarding billing and collections matters
- Creating day to day reports in Excel
Our requirements
- Experience and professional writing ability in English is a must
- Comfortable communication in English with finance, sales, and delivery teams
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of MS Office, excellent Excel skills
- Ability to provide effective customer service to internal and external customers
- Openness for learning various internal and external systems
- Readiness and flexibility to report to USA manager, availability to work in 10.00 - 18.00 hours - if needed
- Relevant educational background within Finance & Accounting or similar faculty would be an asset
- Professional experience in an accounting department such as Accounts Receivable / Billing / Collection would be an asset
- Experience with Salesforce would be an asset
